Zeroth Year of the Shooting Competition for the Prešov Institute Director's Cup

On September 3, 2026, the Prešov Institute for Remand and the Institute for Serving Prison Sentences organized the zeroth year of the shooting competition for the Institute Director's Cup.

In a friendly sporting atmosphere, shooting teams from the institutes of Košice, Šaca, and the home institute of Prešov met, along with teams from the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic, the Regional Directorate of the Police Force in Prešov, and invited guests.

The competition was evaluated based on five different stages consisting of dynamic shooting, precision shooting, barrier shooting, sport shooting, and one secret stage.

First place in the "team" category was won by the host shooting team of the Prešov Institute for Remand and Serving Prison Sentences, composed of Major Mgr. Ivan Miškuf, First Lieutenant Ing. Radovan Dudáš, First Lieutenant Bc. Jozef Petrovčík, and Warrant Officer Marianna Di Giansante Spišáková. Second place went to the shooting team of the Košice Institute for Remand and Serving Prison Sentences, composed of First Lieutenant Bc. Jaromír Dragan, Senior Warrant Officer Peter Hrinko, Junior Warrant Officer Patrik Hrubizna, and Junior Warrant Officer Lea Draganová, and the third place was taken by members of the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic, composed of Staff Sergeant Miroslav Potocký, Sergeant Vlastimil Dobranský, and Corporal Ondrej Mačák.

In the "women's" category, first place was taken by an officer from the Košice-Šaca Institute for Serving Prison Sentences, First Lieutenant Gabriela Ďuricová, second place by an officer from the Košice Institute for Remand and Serving Prison Sentences, Junior Warrant Officer Lea Draganová, and third place by an officer from the Prešov Institute for Remand and Serving Prison Sentences, First Lieutenant Ing. Denisa Gadušová.

In the final "men's" category, first place was won by an officer of the home institute, the Prešov Institute for Remand and Serving Prison Sentences, First Lieutenant Ing. Radovan Dudáš, second place by an officer of the Regional Directorate of the Police Force in Prešov, Senior Warrant Officer Milan Kohút, and third place by an officer from the Košice Institute for Remand and Serving Prison Sentences, First Lieutenant Bc. Jaromír Dragan.
