SNP Heroes' Path, which helps children

On July 16, 2026, a discussion was held at the school center of the Hrnčiarovce nad Parnou Prison and Detention Center with Radoslav Hyža, who successfully completed the challenging SNP Heroes' Path without interruption in 24 days. Almost thirty inmates attended the discussion.

At the beginning, the guest introduced himself, his motivation, his preparation, and the reasons that led him to complete this extremely difficult challenge. His journey also had a significant charitable dimension. During the march, he collected funds for children with disabilities. He managed to raise 12,500 euros, which were distributed among ten families, helping a total of eleven children with disabilities.

Subsequently, a 40-minute documentary film created by the author was screened, mapping his experiences, obstacles, and powerful moments from the journey.

The discussion was concluded by a Q&A session, during which the inmates had the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the physical and mental demands of the route. The meeting brought not only an interesting travel story but also an inspirational message about perseverance, determination, and the willingness to help others.
