On Thursday, July 2, 2026, a lecture was held at the Remand Center and the Correctional Facility for Imprisonment in Nitra by PharmDr. Darina Hederová for accused and convicted persons "HIV, Hepatitis C – briefly and clearly". The aim of the event was to introduce the participants to basic information about these infectious diseases, their symptoms, diagnostic options, treatment, and especially prevention.
The lecture emphasized the importance of early detection of the disease, a responsible approach to one's own health, and the importance of preventive measures that help reduce the risk of infection transmission. The participants had the opportunity to get answers to their questions and took away educational materials aimed at promoting awareness and prevention.
Such educational activities play a significant role in increasing awareness of infectious diseases and contribute to the protection of the health of individuals and the whole society. We believe that the acquired information will be beneficial for the participants and will support a responsible approach to prevention and health care.
