GPS shows the way. This time, through life as well.

GPS helps us find the right direction and reach our destination. The GPS group, composed of Roma people who have come to believe in God, strives to show the way to others through their own lives—a direction that leads to faith, hope, and a new beginning.

In recent days, members of the Christian group GPS and Michal Libant from the DISMAS community visited three institutions of the Prison and Judicial Guard Corps – Dubnica nad Váhom, Banská Bystrica, and Ilava. Through their spiritual program, they brought encouragement, a testimony of faith, and a message that a person can change their life and seek a new direction.

Their performance was not just about music and singing. Behind the songs and words was, above all, the personal testimony of people who themselves encountered God on their life's journey and decided to live according to their faith. By their example, they showed that it is never too late to change one's life path.

In Ilava, the members of the GPS group also participated in the celebration of Holy Mass, creating space for shared experience of faith through their singing and service. They also visited prisoners in the life-sentence section as well as female inmates.

The meetings were an opportunity for the prisoners to pause, reflect on their own lives, and perhaps search anew for the direction they want to take in the future. Because sometimes a person doesn't just need to know where to go. Above all, they need the hope that a new direction still exists.

Through their visit, the GPS group reminded everyone that faith can be a light even in places where a person might feel lost. Their testimony was an encouragement to all who are looking for a path to change and want to take a new direction in their lives.
