Football tournament in Sabinov

A football tournament took place at the Municipal Football Stadium in Sabinov, which was organized in cooperation with the city of Sabinov by the Prešov Institute for Execution of Custody and Institute for Execution of Prison Sentence.

In addition to the Prešov Institute for Execution of Custody and Institute for Execution of Prison Sentence, which fielded two football teams, the tournament was attended by football teams from the Košice Institute for Execution of Custody and Institute for Execution of Prison Sentence, the Nitra Institute for Execution of Custody and Institute for Execution of Prison Sentence,  the Regional and District Prosecutor's Office of Prešov, and the city of Sabinov.

After the arrival of all delegations, the tournament was ceremoniously opened by the director of the Prešov Institute for Execution of Custody and Institute for Execution of Prison Sentence, Col. Mgr. Norbert Kundrák, and the mayor of Sabinov, Ing. Michal Repaský  and subsequently, according to the propositions and the schedule,  the football matches began.

The conclusion of the tournament was accompanied by the announcement of results, with 1st place taken by officers from the Nitra Institute for Execution of Custody and Institute for Execution of Prison Sentence, 2nd place taken by the team from the city of Sabinov, and 3rd place taken by officers from the Prešov Institute for Execution of Custody and Institute for Execution of Prison Sentence.

At the end, the tournament participants agreed that another successful and very well-organized event had just concluded, and considering its organization and the course of the event itself, they expressed their gratitude to the tournament organizers and expressed their conviction that they would be very happy to participate in a similar event in a year's time in the same sporting, sincere, and friendly spirit.
