Rome and the Vatican have once again become a meeting place for members of the Armed Forces and armed corps of the Slovak Republic. The jubilee XX. annual National Pilgrimage of the Ordinariate of the Armed Forces and Armed Corps of the Slovak Republic continued the two decades of this tradition, which holds a firm place in the spiritual life of the corps members and at the same time creates space for representing the Slovak Republic at the Holy See.
This year's pilgrimage was attended by 280 pilgrims from Slovakia. From the Prison and Judicial Guard Corps, 51 officers traveled to Rome along with their family members.
The twentieth national pilgrimage was an opportunity for experiencing faith together, spiritual renewal, and pausing from daily work commitments. At the same time, it was a space for prayers for Slovakia, its security, and for all those who contribute to its protection through their service.
