Together for health and life

Health Day took place at the Remand Prison and Correctional Facility in Banská Bystrica and was full of useful information and preventive screenings that reminded the institution's officers and staff that it is necessary to take care of their health. Participants had the opportunity to undergo InBody device measurement – a complete human body analysis, as well as blood pressure measurement and blood oxygen saturation with a follow-up medical consultation right on the spot.

Part of the Health Day also included measurement of cholesterol, uric acid, or glucose levels from a drop of blood. There was also distribution of vitamins to blood donors who are VšZP policyholders, the possibility of activating a mobile app, as well as consulting in the field of health insurance and VšZP products.

During the Health Day, there was also a mobile blood drive (already our tradition organized four times a year), which was carried out by the National Transfusion Service, Banská Bystrica collection center.

Donors thus had the opportunity to do something not only for their health but at the same time reach out a helping hand to those who need blood.

We thank everyone who participated, took the opportunity to learn more about their health, and especially those who decided to donate blood and help save lives.

Because health is not only about us, but also about what we can do for others.
