Love found its way even behind prison walls

Exceptional life moments can take place even behind bars. This was proven to us by two young people who said their "I do" directly at the Banská Bystrica-Kráľová correctional facility.

For the newlyweds, it was not just a signature on a marriage certificate, but above all a promise that they would stay together even in difficult life situations. Although their wedding day did not follow the traditional script, the ceremony itself overflowed with emotions, smiles, and being moved. For both, the marriage vow was an expression of love, loyalty, and the hope that one day they would be able to start a life together outside the prison walls.

Their story is proof that even difficult life circumstances do not have to be an obstacle if there is determination, mutual support, and love.
