Lovers of military history, dynamic demonstrations, and the authentic atmosphere of the Second World War had a great time during the 6th annual Hron Breakthrough 2026 event, which took place on July 24th and 25th near the village of Veľké Kozmálovce. Visitors had the opportunity to watch battle re-enactments, view military equipment, and learn about the activities of the armed forces of the Slovak Republic, among which the Prison and Judicial Guard Corps – Želiezovce Correctional Facility was also present.
Officers from the Želiezovce facility prepared attractive dynamic demonstrations for the public. They showcased a riot unit intervention focused on pursuing and apprehending an escapee, an armed escort assault, as well as an intervention under unified command to restore legal order in a simulated cell.
Throughout the event, an information booth for the Prison and Judicial Guard Corps was available to visitors, where interested individuals could learn more about employment, recruitment conditions, and public service opportunities. Small sweet rewards were prepared for the youngest visitors.
The participation of the Prison and Judicial Guard Corps in the event once again contributed to bringing the work of the corps' officers closer to the general public while providing a space to present their professionalism, readiness, and daily service.
