
The extraordinary professionalism, quick reaction, and human approach of the members of the Banská Bystrica-Kráľová Prison and Judicial Guard Institute were also recognized by the leadership of the Prison and Judicial Guard Corps. The Director General of the Corps awarded the Honorary Medal of the 3rd Degree for a meritorious and selfless act in saving a life to 1st Lt. Rastislav Šatan and Lt. JUDr. Andrej Kováč, who saved two human lives in a short time – one directly at the workplace and the other through a quick reaction outside the walls of the institute. The Director General highlighted that such a responsible and observant approach is an example of exemplary fulfillment of service duties and spreads the good name of the entire corps.
However, the leadership of the corps does not forget to recognize members who, through their long-term responsible approach, professionalism, and dedication to service, have contributed significantly to the mission of the Prison and Judicial Guard Corps. On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of their service relationship, the Director General of the Corps awarded the Honorary Medal of the 1st Degree to Lt. Col. Mgr. Miroslav Tóth as an expression of recognition for a quarter-century of exemplary service performance, reliability, and conscientious fulfillment of service duties.
The awards were presented to the honored members by the director of the institute, who joined in the congratulations and thanks for their exemplary service, composure in crisis situations, and long-term responsible approach to fulfilling service tasks.
