14th Annual Service Weapon Shooting Competition "Memorial of Fallen Officers of the Leopoldov Institute"

In the renovated premises of the Leopoldov institute shooting range, 13 teams competed in challenging shooting courses for the most accurate shots and the best time. Each task required concentration from the shooter, strict adherence to rules, and safe handling of the weapon. In addition to the host institute, the competition was attended by members of the Regional Police Directorates in Trnava and Nitra, the 53rd Field Services Battalion Hlohovec, the ZVJS Education Institute, and the institutes of Hrnčiarovce nad Parnou, Bratislava, Dubnica nad Váhom, Nitra, Nitra–Chrenová, Želiezovce, Ilava, and Banská Bystrica.

The memorial was not just about victories, but primarily about honoring the memory of colleagues who lost their lives in the line of duty. Furthermore, the joint meetings of the members provided space for strengthening collegial relationships, cohesion, and solidarity.

We congratulate the winners from the Regional Police Directorate in Nitra, the Institute for Execution of Custody and Institute for Execution of Sentence Nitra, and the Institute for Execution of Sentence Nitra–Chrenová, and we look forward to the next year.
