The Production and Printing Services Centre (CPST) is a special-purpose facility primarily designed to provide comprehensive polygraphic and reprographic services, finishing processes, and distribution of polygraphic products for the needs of the Directorate General of the Corps of Prison and Court Guard and all organizational units of the Corps of Prison and Court Guard, for the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic, and in case of available production capacities, also for other state and public administration bodies.
The CPST provides assistance in the preparation and selection of appropriate printed materials and their overall technical specifications for various projects for end customers.
Depending on the purpose of the product and its proper optimization, we use various specific forms of bookbinding or die-cutting. In addition to the actual production of printed materials, we also provide several supplementary services for customers. The most frequently used services are graphic design and addressed distribution.
Auxiliary workers from among the sentenced prisoners participate in the production of the special-purpose facility's products. By providing professional training and subsequent practical application in production, we enable assigned sentenced prisoners to acquire skills in the field of polygraphic technological processes. They thus gain the opportunity to utilize the acquired skills in the adaptation process after their release.
A public contracting authority may place an order with the CPST without public procurement. In practice, this means a significant acceleration of order processing and delivery of the required goods.
Pursuant to § 1 par. 13 letter d) of the Act No. 343/2015 Coll. on public procurement and on amendments and supplements to certain acts, this Act does not apply to sub-threshold contracts and low-value contracts, the subject of which is the supply of goods, the execution of construction works, or the provision of services, where the customer is a public contracting authority - the Slovak Republic represented by its bodies or a municipality, and the supplier is the Corps of Prison and Court Guard, if it concerns goods, construction works, or services provided by employing sentenced prisoners and remand prisoners.
In addition to polygraphic, reprographic, and production work, it also provides:
forms, books, and internal regulations; performs printing and production services; distributes forms, production materials, books, and internal regulations to customers
printing and processing of materials of a cultural and educational nature; ensures large-scale reproduction work through full-colour copying
production, processing, and printing of basic planning documents, internal regulations, and designated generally binding legal regulations
production services and manufacturing or printing of production materials; handles the polygraphic and production support for conferences, international negotiations, cultural and sporting events, or competitions
comprehensive graphic preparation, printing, and processing of publications, magazines, and other publications; production of decorative bookbinding products for foreign negotiations and international activities
