Technologies in the prison sentence execution - How AI is changing the craft of photography

The prison unit in Sabinov of the remand prison and prison in Prešov organized a professional lecture for sentenced prisoners focused on current trends in the field of modern technologies. The invitation was accepted by experienced photographer Martin Mašek, who introduced those present to innovations in the photography segment. The central theme of his lecture was the use of artificial intelligence (AI) with a specific focus on real estate photography.

Since technologies are advancing by leaps and bounds, the lecture offered the participants a unique opportunity to look beyond the prison walls and learn how the labor market and the craft of photography are changing in the modern world. Photographer Martin Mašek, who has been dedicated to photography for a long time, introduced innovative procedures to those present, but at the same time maintained a pragmatic view, where he did not present AI only as a flawless miracle, but also pointed out its disadvantages.

The topic of modern technologies proved to be extremely attractive and stimulating for the sentenced prisoners. The final discussion proved that the lecture fell on fertile ground. The sentenced prisoners asked a number of questions directed at the future of the photographer's profession, the practical significance of AI, and above all, whether AI can completely replace the human eye and sense of detail.
