As part of resocialization activities, the inmates completed two walks into the historic center of Bratislava. A total of six inmates participated in the activities, divided into two groups.
The main goal of the walks was to support the resocialization of the inmates, allow them to briefly leave the institutional environment and experience normal everyday situations. During the walk, they visited the Main and Hviezdoslav squares, the Medical Garden, St. Michael's Gate, the Cumil statue on Panská Street, and the Fishermen's Gate. At the same time, they had the opportunity to discover significant historical and cultural landmarks of the capital.
The program also included a short refreshment in one of the fast-food chains, and they enjoyed ice cream in the square in a pleasant summer atmosphere. Both walks took place without complications and contributed to the development of the inmates' social skills, their responsible behavior in public, and preparation for successful integration into society after serving their sentences.
