On 14 October 2026, a sports quiz titled “Test your knowledge from the world of sports” took place at the Remand Prison and Prison in Nitra. It was prepared and personally moderated for the male sentenced prisoners by the well-known sports editor of Slovak Television and Radio (STVR), Ľuboš Hlavena.
Contestants were able to test their knowledge of the sports world while learning many interesting facts from behind the scenes of major sporting events. Ľuboš Hlavena engaged them with his captivating storytelling and personal experiences from commenting on sports competitions, as well as from the eight Olympic Games he had the opportunity to commentate.
The prisoners' unit educator also joined the competition, which made the event carry a spirit of friendly rivalry and shared interest in sports.
The quiz brought not only a competitive atmosphere but also an opportunity to expand knowledge, learn interesting sports stories, and spend time in a meaningful and stimulating activity.
Our thanks go to Mr. Hlavena, especially for his time and willingness to work even with viewers from a different environment.
